Embarrassing bodies TV programme features a teenager with a varicocele
The docs have headed down to Newquay to find out what boys on a jolly by the seaside like to get up to. First through the tent doors is 17-year old Tom, who’s found a worrying lump on his testicle and wants Dr Dawn to check it out. The diagnosis is varicocele, an enlarged vein that is normally benign, but can impact on future fertility. Dawn packs Tom off to the fertility clinic to get things checked out.
